Welcome

My name is Chris Lewis, and I'm a British PhD student with the Software Introspection Lab at the Computer Science department of UC Santa Cruz.
I study the intersection of software engineering and video games, with particular interest in quantitive results to support game design from big data. My advisor is Jim Whitehead.

If you want to get in touch, check out my contact details.

I am currently researching Retention Engineering: ascertaining the motivations of users, and how these motivations lead to user retention. I am primarily investigating this area by comparing gamification techniques to traditional game design and behavioral economics.
